Point Reyes National Seashore
I found myself in this spot one summer evening making pictures of cows grazing on different slopes at varying distances. When the sun descended nearer to the horizon, the cows had moved elsewhere, but these colors developed and I was in photographer heaven. The cypress trees in the distance are the same ones that can be seen in the corner of another image: Farm House. And as I mentioned in the description for Farmstead Sunrise, I am pleasantly surprised that a very similar photo could be made at the exact opposite time of day, during the opposite time of year.
