Point Reyes National Seashore
I love this farm house. Everything about this house romanticizes what non-farmers like myself imagine a working farm in Point Reyes to be: 4AM starts with a cup of coffee, donning a heavy jacket, seeing the frosted mist of each breath as you step into the dark cold morning, the stillness and quiet of the air, the low rumble of crashing waves in the distance, and the gentle rustling of expectant dairy cows as you approach for the morning routine.
I drive past this house every time I head out to Point Reyes and Cathedral Rock, and every time I do, I slow down to enjoy it. An opportunity opened up one day to take a photograph, with permission from the owner, and I captured it on 8x10" transparency film. The detail in the image is remarkable, even in the largest prints.
